At Celebration Church, we believe that life is better in the context of authentic relationships
A Community Group is an intentional gathering of people who meet regularly. Since God designed us for relationships, we believe it is through the connections made in Community Groups that God will help us grow. People form groups around what matters in their lives. This can look like connecting with people who share similar interests or are at the same stage in life as well as finding people who have experience in an area in which you want to grow. Community Groups are also where we pray for each other and support each other. Most Community Groups meet once a week in locations all around our city, and with many groups to choose from, we believe there is a group out there for you.

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS
You’ve probably seen Community Groups meeting and not even realized it. A community group looks like friends at lunch, teams playing basketball, or people studying a book or topic of interest. At its core, a community group is simply a gathering of people. It’s less about what you do and more about who you do it with. By participating in a Community Group, you can expect to connect with others through a common activity, engage in life-giving conversation and request prayer.
Most of our Community Groups meet weekly during three trimesters each year – fall, winter and spring.
Community Groups are most often held in people’s homes, coffee shops, restaurants and workplaces in Brant County and surrounding areas.
Many of our Community Groups meet for one trimester. This way, you can try multiple types of groups throughout the year and new people can join in easily. As relationships form, some groups choose to stay together for consecutive trimesters.
Childcare varies from group to group. Please reach out to the group leader to find out if childcare is available.
The truth is, not everyone will find the best fit for them on their first try. This is why we encourage you to select a few groups that interest you and contact the leaders to try it out. We believe there is a group that is right for everyone – and if you see a need that we are not yet meeting, perhaps you would like to host your own group! We would love to help equip you in this and have Host Kits available at Guest Services.
